She is an undocumented student trying to constantly succeed other people’s expectations while being grateful for where she is. She strives to make the world a better place one step at a time by volunteering at local nonprofits and making sure to make an impact on campus. At school, she is a Business Management major and Foundations of Artificial Intelligence minor. She is the VP of Communications of Women In Technology (WIT) and a leader for the Developer Student Club. Lisset promotes diversity and inclusion of women technologists and strives to join the industry soon.

Where is Lisset From?

Lisset was born in Mexico City and migrated to the United States when she was four years old. She grew up in Roswell, GA for most of her life with her family. Right now, she lives and goes to school in Decatur, GA at Agnes Scott College.

Where is Lisset Now?

Right now, Lisset is a senior trying to do the whole “becoming an adult and getting a job” thing. She has had various internship experiences with Red Ventures and Fast Enterprises as an SEO and software implementation intern. She also has leadership experience on campus as VP of WIT, a DSC leader, and a SCALE student leader. Furthermore, she enjoys attending workshops and conferences related to leadership and diversity in leadership. Lisset is searching for an analyst, web design, and tech-related role that can bridge the gap between technology and business.

Where is Lisset Going?

Lisset wants to become a web designer for a big company someday. Right after college, she either wants to find a job or take a gap year to serve as a volunteer. In the future, going to graduate school is still an option for her as she would like to get an MBA, get a master’s in Industrial Psychology, or Human-Computer Interaction. Lastly, she would like to own the title of “CEO” for her own company.

About Portfolio

My portfolio serves as an outlet for creativity and self-expression through the work that I have done inside and outside of class. I want to showcase my art, photography, projects, and reflections.

For example, one of my favorite art pieces that I have created is a painting of a dancer for my mom. Since I was young, I’ve been dancing at church during worship. I aspire to continue worshiping through either dance or music.
